Walk with a traditional lakeland pack pony
From our base at the foot of Windermere we take families and groups on a one day adventure with our native Fell ponies, following part of an old pack horse route through meadows, woods and fell.
Prices start from £250 for a family of 4 including picnic lunch (then £50 per child and £75 an adult thereafter)
Making friends
What we’ll do
Start the day making friends with your pack pony. Then we load the packsaddles with everything we need for a picnic lunch round a charcoal fire. Suitable for families, the walk is about 4 miles round trip back to our base.

This is an all weather day out so you will need
Warm clothing (layers work well)
A waterproof Jacket
Sturdy footwear (no sandals please, you will know about it if a horse accidentally steps on your foot)
A sense of adventure
