Perfect for the little ones.

Our Shetland pony Jet carries your snacks and sandwiches, while Fell pony mares Fairmile and Polly Perkins carry the picnic blankets and take you for a gentle ride.

£575 for a group of 8 kids and 4 adults

For larger groups get in touch and we can tailor a pack pony picnic to your needs.

The walk is approx 1/2 mile each way to our wildflower meadow (with views of the lake for those who can make it to the top!)

What we will provide

A picnic lunch of home made sandwiches, vegetable sticks, fruit, yoghurt tubes, crisps and juice.

Your group must bring one parent/responsible adult for every two children.

Each child will have the opportunity to lead Jet and Fairmile, and also have a short ride on Polly.

The minimum age for riders is 4 yrs old.

What you need to bring

Prepare for all weather conditions by dressing in warm, layered clothing. Bring along a waterproof jacket and in wet weather bring wellies or boots (the track might be muddy!).
