Ready to set off!

I rode out on the Windermere hack yesterday and what an experience. From the friendly greeting at the gate to the cheery goodbyes as I left the yard 5 hours later the whole day was just amazing. To experience this breed in their native environment really highlighted how sure footed they are and so capable of coping with any gradient and rocky tracks. This is not just horse riding this is indeed a “Fell Pony Adventure”.

Can’t recommend this ride enough if anyone is swithering about going - do it! My 12 year old had the best ride of her life and she has been riding twice a week since she was five!

It was one of the most wonderful rides I have ever been on. They are such lovely people and ponies. The ride was very peaceful and the views were incredible. I very much recommend coming to ride here. The whole ride was amazing - hacking through the forest and cantering up the fells was an incredible experience. Thank you so much. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be coming again! “

We are not able to take novice riders as we have no suitable area for schooling.

Definitely some of the best 6 hours on a pony I’ve ever had.
