From our base at the foot of Windermere, we take small groups of competent riders on a one day adventure with our registered Fell ponies, following part of an ancient pack horse route with stunning views of Lake Windermere and the Lakeland fells.
Please note, you just be competent at walk, trot and canter to come on one of our hacks. We are unable to take novice riders as we have no suitable area for schooling.
What we will do
Start the day making friends with your Fell pony, grooming and getting tacked up, then we ride out of the village of Staveley in Cartmel and climb up out of the valley for some breathtaking views of the lake below. We serve a home cooked picnic lunch before continuing on a circular route home.
The ride is approx 7 miles.
